529 Registration Station – Māngere Bridge!
April 3, 2022 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Kia ora tātou, please see below details of our first Bike Māngere Bridge event for 2022. Come along for a family-friendly day out at Ambury Farm!
Sunday 3rd April, 10am – 12pm, ‘The Barn’ at Ambury Farm
The day will have a couple of things going on…
We are partnering with 529 Garage to help people register their bike with their system. Registration is a way of keeping our bikes safer, and making it easier for people to recover their bikes if they get stolen. On the day we can help with the registration process and attach 529 Garage stickers (or “shields”) to your bike. More details about 529 Garage to follow in the coming days.
We will give you directions so that you can go and explore the bike paths out the back of Ambury Farm.
Further events and activities to be confirmed!
A note on COVID:
We know that the virus is in our community, and many people feel understandably cautious about going to events. We will take the following steps to minimise risk:
We know that the virus is in our community, and many people feel understandably cautious about going to events. We will take the following steps to minimise risk:
1. We will be outdoors at all times
2. The event will run on a drop-in when you can model, and it is unlikely that there will be many people gathered at any one time
3. Contact with others will be minimal – really just having someone attach a 529 sticker to your bike and (if needed) help you with a registration process.
4. If people don’t want to be close to others, we can just give you a wave and point you in the direction of the bike paths
