Bike Champion’s Forum – in person
May 24, 2022 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
FreeThe success of Bike Auckland achieving our vision of a better city for people on bikes is dependent on the success of the community we serve…yes you the great people of Tāmaki Makaurau! We would love you to help us by becoming a Bike Champion (while there isn’t a cape, your halo will be shining and your wheels will be spinning!).
Bike Champions are anyone passionate about helping their community discover the joy of biking. They understand their community needs and wants, and are ready to share their views.
The Bike Champions Forum will provide a bimonthly opportunity for all Bike Champions to come together to share ideas, align on goals, find support for activities, and build our awesome biking community.
So bring your enthusiasm and ideas along to this Bike Champions Forum, 6pm – 8.30pm Wednesday 25 May, at The Flagship, 55 Madden Street, Auckland.
The agenda for this hui is:
– Updates on infrastructure projects
Bike Burb activities
– What is happening in the advocacy area, elections, and stakeholder engagement
– Upcoming events
– Reframing road safety – follow up from Tom Flood presentation
– Questions and answers.
