Edmonton has come a long way in a short while for cycling. After a couple of false starts, this Canadian city the size of Auckland is now creating a full-scale downtown grid of protected cycleways virtually overnight – building at lightning speed, and all in one go!
The big question for Auckland: could we see the same kind of fast-forward progress here??
Come and learn from our special guest Tyler Golly, who headed sustainable transportation for the City of Edmonton and developed the Downtown Bike Grid with Stantec design consultancy.
