Māngere Bridge – Family Friendly Bike Ride

It’s Biketober and in Māngere Bridge we’re celebrating with a school holiday event which is open to everyone! Join our Family Friendly Bike Ride on Tuesday 8th October and celebrate the joy of cycling.
We’ll meet on the grass in front of the Barn (the building with the toilets) at 2pm to ride along the Watercare Coastal walkway to Puketutu Island (approx. 13km return). One traffic light controlled crossing in each direction, otherwise the ride is traffic free.
This ride is entirely flat on a gravel road type surface. Suitable for bikes, e-bikes, cargo bikes.
Children must be accompanied by an adult and all participants need to wear a helmet please. We recommend you have appied sunscreen and bring some drinking water with you.
