GI2TD Section 2 sod-turning ceremony
July 31, 2020 @ 8:15 am - 9:15 am
Delighted to say we’ll be providing valet bike parking at the official ground-breaking ceremony for the hotly anticipated St John’s to Ōrakei Basin section of the great Glen Innes to Tamaki Drive eastern pathway.
You know we love a good sod-turning – and it’s so great to see this vital connection (the big long red bit on the map above) getting under way! So if you’re riding nearby on the day, please do join us. We’ll look after your bikes during the ceremonies.
When: Friday 31 July 2020. Arrive by 8.15am for a 8.30am start.
Where: Tahapa Reserve East, Meadowbank.
RSVP to events@nzta.govt.nz
NOTE: Tahapa Reserve is a 2 minute bike ride (or 10 minute walk) from Meadowbank Train Station. If you’re coming by bike, please enter the reserve via the access way between 23 and 25 Tahapa Crescent, or 26 and 28 Harapaki Road.
