InMotion Matariki Parade

Presented by Touch Compass, New Zealand’s leading inclusive performing arts organisation, showcasing artists with and without a disability.
The InMotion Matariki Parade 2019 – the magical all-wheels illuminated parade – is a fun, free, inclusive and fully-accessible family-friendly event. We are really keen to see support from the cycling community at InMotion Matariki Parade.
When: Saturday 6 July, 5.30pm – 8.30pm
Where: Start and finish at Silo Park.
Decorate your wheels – whether it be a wheelchair, bike, scooter, billy-cart, skateboard, unicycle, or power chair – and join us for a magical journey of discovery through the urban maze of Auckland’s Wynyard Quarter.  Enjoy a mix of sensory installations, art installations and live performances along the route, before a presentation of Touch Compass’ new aerial spectacle, Ika on The Gantry.
