This ride will take in many of the lovely sites, parks, beaches, and particularly the quality cycling infrastructure and around the Māngere-Ōtāhuhu Local Board Area has to offer.
A social ride, 1-2 hours long, suitable for beginners, building up your fitness/confidence or if you just want a social ride. We ride at either Woodhill or Riverhead depending on where conditions are best. The ride atmosphere is relaxed and everyone is welcome.
After the success of their first event, Bike Eastern Suburbs is holding more 'Love your Path' working bees. The group will be doing maintenance along section one of the Te Ara Ki Uta Ki Tai (Glen Innes to Tāmaki Drive) path. Picking up rubbish, clearing weeds and planting to make sure the path is looking loved.
Got a bike that needs fixing? Bring it along to our FREE weekly pop-up bike kitchen at Avondale market in September. Ride your bike to the market (if you can) drop your bike at our stand on Ash street's entrance, and let our mechanic handle the repairs while you shop for groceries.
