Matariki Night Ride 2022 – Avondale

FreeMATARIKI NIGHT RIDE returns – blinging bigger and brighter.
Bike Avondale invites you, your whānau and friends to celebrate the start of the Māori new year outdoors under the Matariki stars.
Join us once again for this free community event to share kai, enjoy interactive activities and bling your bikes for our specially lit next level Matariki NIGHT RIDE course for bikes and scooters. We’re also very proud to launch AIR AVONDALE – the most illustrious illustratively illuminated ride you’ll see…perhaps ever.

** BYO EMPTY plate & spoon (to eat from), water bottle and MUG for free hot chocolates post ride.
** BYO wheels. Light ’em up peeps
** AIR AVONDALE launch. Collect your tickets on the night from DREAM BOAT aviator.
** Ride through our special night-time bike course, fairy-lit including art installations.
Thank you for respecting our ZERO WASTE kaupapa. Please try to bling using reusable products – glow in the dark paint and rechargeable and solar powered fairy lights. Feel free to wear white as there MAY BE UV Paint aflickering
